i think i have the start of an eating disorder. i mean iv always been paranoid about my weight. now whenever i eat i feel guilty and like everyones watching me and thinking im fat. im not morbidly obese but i do feel fat. im certainly not anorexic either but iv lost 10lbs within the last 2-3 weeks. iv never lost that much on a normal diet. i dont know i keep skipping lots of meals and iv gotten into the habit of making myself sick but i think thats just the ocd side. im not sure?

i think it would benefit you to speak with someone who specialises in ed ... i see a dietitian who specialises in anorexia and bulimia... i didn't think i was anorexic... because i don't fit the criteria completely... i am not under weight... but come to find out that is because i have screwed up my metabolism so much... i do fit all the rest of the criteria... i guess i am nos with anorexic tendencies...lyn

my doctor wasn't much help... he doesn't see a problem... what i did was googled dietitian eating disorder and put in the county i live in... it came up with an intensive outpatient program... i contacted them and they referred me to one of their dietitians... my insurance hasn't covered it... but maybe yours will... if i was a patient of the outpatient program they would... but i am not ready for that yet...lyn
