So, over the last 5-6 months I have been really trying to eat healthier. My ultimate goal is to be vegan with no sugar, caffeine or packaged/processed foods. Right now it's vegetarian(no meat) with minimal dairy, eggs, sugar, caffeine, and packaged processed foods. This week I have decided to plan out the meals to help with the consistency of healthier meals and snacks. I really hope the added effort of pre-planning helps more. I guess I'll soon find out.

Do you want to be a vegetarian because someone told you it is "healthy" or are you being a vegetarian for ethical reasons?

Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors. |

I went veg because I realized when I didn't eat meat I felt better. My PCP wants me to cut dairy which I am struggling to cut the last little bit I do eat. I also eat very little egg because I don't especially like them. I'm trying to go completely plant-based because I've done it before and felt so much better and healthier.
