Ok, so as a sufferer of mental health, I can hardly get out of bed some days. I have even slept through school before. After wanting to lose weight for about 3 years and, well, gaining it instead, I really need to lose some. I'm not overweight, but have love handles/a bit too much stomach fat/large-ish thighs. I really want to lose weight, but it's so difficult. I'm not trying to make excuses, but all the basic motivational things don't work for me, like looking at fit people, reading motivational stuff. Plus my illnesses aren't going to go away anytime soon. Has anyone been through this/ can help?

Instead of going on a "diet" just choose healthy foods. Diets usually fail .

Good luck you can find a way to do this

I can feel that you are going through a tough time. The problem is that your mind would like to do something, but you don't enough will power in order to convince your physical body to act accordingly. Losing weight is not easy, nor is it quick. Even though you cannot get out of bed early, isn't there something convenient that you can do in order to lose weight?

That's not enough because at the end of the day you're going to have to make decision, so your success will be determined by that. You can't keep on spending your time on this due to the fact that it's futile. You have to take action in order to make your weight loss dream to become a reality.
