What's a good way to get motivated to exercise when your depressed and ashamed of your body?

It's SUPER hard to do. I saved some money and bought a Fitbit, and it's helped to motivate me a little bit. Mostly having someone to exercise with does it for me. It's hard, though, to get other people to want to go for a walk. Good luck!

When you hit the wall and are so f-ing mad at yourself and the world you just can't take it and you realize you have to do something about it or die, you'll do it, you'll enjoy it, you'll enjoy the results, and you will never go back.

You will know when you are at that point. It will come very naturally to you, and NOTHING will stand in your way, not pain, not fear, not $.

Try the C25k (Couch to 5k)-program! It has worked wonders for me! I was feeling like you just a few weeks ago. The weight loss isn't massive (at first at least) but it tones your body, you feel better and stronger and you have a goal to work towards. AND you eventually lose weight! Good luck, hope it will help you like it has helped me.
