I want to keep track on how much weight I have lost (or will lose)
I started my diet on Wednesday and I have already lost 2lb.

I will post an update as I go along.

do you mean Wednesday as in yesterday? Your weight can vary a couple pounds day to day from water weight and depending on the time you weigh yourself.

I think this is a great idea. Kind of like a weightless journal only easier to update. I hope your weight loss continues to go well. My nurse always tells me "Slow and steady wins the race" because it is better for your body to loose weight gradually rather than all at once. Looking forward to reading about your journey here.

Buttercup, why don't you weigh yourself once a week? That way it (hopefully) won't vary from day to day.

Good for you for taking care of yourself!

Buttercup,

I second the suggestion to only weigh yourself once a week. That's what my dietitian told me to do. Weigh myself, on the same day and time, preferably before I've eaten anything, so I do it, as soon as I get up. That way you see real weight loss, instead of just daily normal fluctuations.

My roommate weighs herself daily, and tracks it and it drives her crazy becuase she's either up or down one or two pounds every day, but never falls outside a 5 lb range.
