I've been on a weight loss plateau for MONTHS. Clothes though have fit better and I know I've been eating well. I'm within 10 pounds of my goal weight and I decided to get back to the gym to kick start things again. I used to be a runner (5 to 10ks, and even a half) but I haven't run at all for almost a year. This morning a did a walk/ jog for 30 minutes for 2 miles.

I'm going to try to go MWF. Anybody else starting back at the gym? Maybe we can check to hold ourselves accountable .

Great job starting back up!

I'm in very similar situation, been losing weight for about 7 months, been at a plateau for about a month, and gained 3-4 pounds this last week even before Thanksgiving from a horrible weekend of eating. Even though I exercised all week, I apparently ate like a million calories in excess! I'm about 10-15 from my goal as well.

I used to run also, did a couple of half marathons and one full, and quit running due to tendonitis. I just got back on my treadmill a week ago and jogged for the first time in 3 years – it felt great! I usually do fitness classes at the Y 4-5 times a week and I love it.

DOMS has kicked in big time . Super sore after running. Plan is to go again in the morning and do another run. Hopefully I won't be as sore.
