So I had a cancer scare last year,my biopsy in December came back clear and I am waiting for the results of January 2017 biopsies.Last August they found cancer on a polyp I had removed.I started CBD and anti cancer diet, had a water filter machine fitted and took loads of anti cancer supplements. So far it has worked.I need to lose about six or seven stones in weight because obesity is a cause of cancer and I now need to be on a cancer prevention mission.

So in addition to changing my diet, really must stop sweet foods especially muffins and other desserts that I have a weakness for,and I also like paninnis and have a liking for Starbucks coffee with syrups.Must cut back on all that.
I decided to allow the occasional coffee but no more muffins or paninnis.Too fattening.

I have resolved to walk half an hour everyday too,as a start with the exercise,I need this to lose weight and it will also help my heart and my mobility.
I am feeling confident I can lose this weight,I intend to use this thread to record my progress.I am at a starting weight of 287 pounds which is obese and quite heavy.I am aiming initially to lose down to 238 pounds. Then take it down further from there.

I will begin probably after my meal with my niece next Saturday.
But will make a template this week to plan my meals and I will start the exercise plan this coming Monday,I will start the diet tomorrow, and suspend it next Saturday for the meal with my niece.

Wish me luck!

Good luck! I think the two things above are really important things to do for your health (no matter what your weight is but they help you lose weight). Remember, it will take time for your body to get used to the changes so don't be too hard on yourself when you mess up; just try again. When we don't exercise, we lose muscle mass making our metabolism slow down. After you exercise for a while, it will get easier and you will feel better. That cute dog is inspiring!
