Really snowy today, couldn't run safely but did get a short bike ride to and from volunteering. Weather set to last all week so think it will be difficult to exercise.

I went for a walk today in the snow. A hike. Been kinda slow with exercising at the gym lately. I had to go to physical therapy for my shoulder. Been doing exercises for that. I have an impingement.

PS: Hi Coco! Hi Prefab!

I weighed myself it has been two weeks I think. Well I lost 6 lbs (249.4). I still have a long way to go. I gained so much weight being on Zoloft last year. I tell myself I did not gain the weight over night and it will take time to come off

Hello everyone, after all this time.

I've been having an awful time so far this year. Among other things, home exercise just plain stopped. I somehow kept making it to my two classes a week, but had to keep slowing down and doing less -- to an extent that was very discouraging, even upsetting.

A little over a week ago I started doing some light rowing on that defective machine. It's not what I want to do every day, and I really need to do other things. But the other things just never happen. So at least I've started doing something.

I can't really run because I get shin splints, but I went early before Monday stretching class and fast walked around the community centre track with running up and down steps a few times once a lap. Doing the steps is hard and I have to limit myself in my current condition, but it doesn't impact the legs the way flat jogging does. So I seemed to be able to do that without risking the shin splints.

I didn't get anything done today beyond walking the dog (which I have done almost without fail for something like a year, even when the SI was bad -- actually especially when the SI was bad). That walk is too easy and doesn't really do anything for my fitness, but it's important for my health -- and the dog.

I've been having sleep problems lately, and today was bad because of having to get up early. So hopefully tomorrow will be better.

It's good to see you two (Coco and starry) plugging away at your efforts. Well done and I hope you're doing okay. I saw starry feeling very low in a thread the other day.

And I hope prefab is hanging in there.

Hi Cepheid. I'm really glad to see you back here again. Though I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time. It sounds like things in general are a struggle, even exercise? Regardless, I hope you do for you what you feel is best and most helpful for you always, whether that's rest or exercising.

Anyway, I'm so glad to see you here. Hope you know I'm listening, too. I love your rain poll. And thank you for the hugs on my low thread (I think I know which one you're referring to, I'd deleted it).

Big hugs.
