So I went to my doctor the other day and she gave me this. It is a new weight loss drug that suppresses your appetite. But unlike Phenterime is is actually suggested for Long term use. It has been around for 4 years and "drugs.com" gives it good reviews.

First, my insurance didn't pay and it cost $300 for a 30 day supply. I almost fell over. But I got a coupon and got it reduced to $80.

But today, blurg, I took it and things didn't go well. It is hard to tell. I also got TOM at the same time and this TOM I have felt might be epically bad. I had super bad PMS symptoms.

But I felt like a truck hit me all day and I took only 1/2 the dose.
- dry eyes that felt like I could hardly focus them.
- aches and pains
- anxiety or rapid breathing
- chills
- clearing my throat

I guess I wasn't as hungry but it was hard to tell feeling so bad. As you can see some of these symptoms can also be from TOM so who knows what is what other than the dry eyes.

Anyone else use this?

Well, after about a week, the side effects went away. I have lost about 8 lbs in three weeks. It is hard to tell exactly but I am sure it is at least 6. Belviq says you should discontinue if you don't lose 5% of your body weight in 13 weeks. 5% is about 10lbs so I am on track. I do find it hard on my brain. I am unable to really remember things too well. But so far I haven't forgotten anything.

I am pretty sure it has an effect on my emotions as well. I am more "oblivious". Things don't bother me as much. Happy...about that.

I think this combo could work as long as I don't suppress my metabolism. Accordingly when I stop losing weight for more than 4 weeks.. I will stop this medication and dieting.
