I haven’t weighed myself yet. Today I went to McDonald’s and I got a plain filet o fish at 270 calories, a 10 piece McNugget at 420 calories, and a small fry at 220 calories. I also had a piece of cheese at 80 calories. So far everything I had today was 990 calories. I have 380 calories left for the day and I’m not sure what else I’ll be eating. I’m pretty full right now. I did a lot of errands today so I moved around a lot.

I've been eating low carb today. I feel better. I may just throw away the Hawaiian bread. I don't want anymore. It makes me feel awful.

158 exactly today. So far I’ve had 690 calories. Not sure what else I’ll be eating.

I had a breakfast sandwich this morning but only ate half of the biscuit. I feel better today. Not weighted down or heavy. I will have veggie fajitas later.

My stomach has definitely shrunk so I am doing things right. I am very pleased with myself.

I haven't eaten much today. I've been too depressed. Nothing seems appealing. I might just have an Atkins shake and go to bed.

I recently gained 20 pounds so I'm going to try to jump into this thread because something needs to change. I'm going to start by paying closer attention to what I actually eat on a given day.

I ate egg and potato salad today, feel inspired to eat healthy, I am eating less and only breakfast and one other meal a day.

Welcome! I recently gained some weight back. I hope to start eating better soon so it will come off. I plan to walk too. Being mindful of what we eat is an important first step. I wish you success!

Thank you! Yes, mindful eating is so important. I keep finding myself going for the fridge when I shouldn't be. Good luck with your healthy eating and walking.

I had an Atkins shake this morning. I don't really feel like eating anything at the moment. Nothing is appealing. I may just have cheese and crackers later. I'm very anxious today.

I gained some weight back over the past week or so. Trying to get back on track. Weighed in at 167 this morning. Got some healthy food in the house now so hopefully that helps, I have such a problem with eating too many sweets

Gave in and ate a couple of blueberry muffins, not too much sugar in them, but still shouldn't have done it.
I didn't buy them for me I was going to take them to my mum in the care home when I next visit.
There were four muffins, there are two left which I will take to my mum.
It's inevitable I will give in and eat stuff I don't want to, so I have to allow for that.
I just have to make sure whatever I allow in that way isn't got too much sugar in it!
The muffins I ate haven't sent my sugar soaring in my blood, so that is good.

Not sure how I'm doing. I'm too afraid to step on the scale. I think I've lost some water weight. So that's good. I'm trying to eat well. I don't feel like exercising though. Just too stressed out.

164 today. I’ve been stressed and also dealing with bad cravings from PMS. I’m going going to try low carb again. It worked during the summer and I lost about 12 pounds in a month. I just got really sick from it. So I was going to do it a little bit differently this time.

I had a slice of toast, scrabbled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast today and had a cup of tea and two coffees and a green tea
the rest of the day. I was going to have salmon fillet and vegetables for dinner but I am not hungry so am not going to eat tonight.
If I get hungry I will eat a carrot or tomato or something. I had about 850 calories today so if I don't eat more it's good for my diet and also good for my liver to have a fast from breakfast today until breakfast tomorrow. I am so pleased with myself.

I thought about stepping on the scale, but changed my mind. I still could be eating much better. And I really need to try to exercise.
