I have like 10 boxes of different kinds of instant oatmeal I can't bring myself to fix. If I could eat that and all the canned beans on my shelf I'd be good I think.

I got some stuff on amazon called Protein4oats. You add it after its cooked, cuz i think you cant really cook protein powder. It flavors it and adds a good amt of protein, supposably.

Ive been on a refried bean kick lately. Higher in fat, but i basically eat no other fat so.

I had 2 egg salad tortillas, emphasis on salad, for breakfast. I have been having a baby cuke with kimchi powder, delish but spicy, for appetizer.
This is exciting to hear! a 6 day streak, a day of rest, and then 40 minutes next day and you do not get overtired. This is great indeed!

I have finally gone to the farmers' market. I have not gone in, like, months and months. They come on Sunday mornings and I finally can get up early enough to go thanks to the improvement in my sleep patterns. I bought something completely new: RED walnuts. I bought them from the same lady from whom I had been buying walnuts for something like a decade, but not RED! She explained that they were cultivated by UC Davis a while ago but only recently made available to farmers. I tried them at home: utterly delish.

I also bought a sheep's milk yogurt. It was a splurge but I absolutely love it. And, bought a European style seeded whole rye bread and strawberries. At home, had a toasted piece of bread with butter, warm milk, strawberries, the sheep's milk yogurt and a few walnuts. It felt splendid and now I have strawberries to last a couple of days and bread to last at least a week. So it was not that expensive, considering how long I will eat the stuff.

I like baby cukes, too.

You won't believe it but I played a racket sport today! For 45 minutes but not non-stop: had 2 long breaks. I played with a young woman who is at my level, not having played in ages. We just met for the first time to play and were really happy but also very tired. HR up! We will do it again.

Your lunch sounds heavenly! All amazing ingredients. Sometimes i just crave rye bread. And i was pretty much raised on sheep's milk cheese - pecorino Romano!

Racket sport is a true test of stamina. You are reaping your rewards.

I've eaten rice and golden hominy today. Today was mostly just intutive eating. I had to stop for Starbucks on my way running errands since my throat was irritating me so much. I bought some Biotine from Walgreens so hopefully it works out.

Sorry but I am not following. Why Biotin? How is Biotin going to help your sore throat??

I've had a really dry mouth since starting Wellbutrin. I thought it might help out my throat in case it was just really dry from meds..

Biotin is a largely useless and unproven supplement widely used for hair/skin/nails. It can skew the results of some blood tests. If you take it, you need to be careful when undergoing bloodwork because for some tests, you need to stop taking Biotin ahead of the test to obtain valid results. In a nutshell, it is a waste of money. See if you can return it to Walgreens for a refund. Walgreens is usually good about this kind of things if you act fast.

Whether you have dry mouth or not, buy yourself Xylitol mints from Amazon. Not only do they relieve dry mouth temporarily, but also they prevent caries. A win-win. My favorite flavor is lemon.

This is intriguing. Another option @Mountaindewed is to pair instant oatmeal with eggs for breakfast. I read it coming from one of the leading CGM companies, either Nutrisense or Levels. Pairing with protein is important because as a standalone meal, oats, unfortunately, spike glucose. This is especially true of instant oats.

I think he means Biotene. Which sorry @Mountaindewed but that's probably not going to help your throat. Maybe worth a try but I don't think you swallow the Biotene. My dentist also recommends the xylitol lozenges that Tart Cherry Jam mentioned. I got berry flavored ones from Amazon because I don't like mint candy/gums very much. I've had a much dryer than my already dry mouth since adding Seroquel 6 weeks ago and I am just drinking water. Really cold water helps me at least for a while.

Your throat sounds like it needs a doctor to check it out.

I did also get some Chloraseptic throat lozenges at Walgreens today.

The immediate care doctor said it wasn't any of the major things. But possibly just a viral thing. Napping this afternoon helped a bit. I just drank something without an issue.

I'll have to remember to eat more eggs.

note that when CGM companies say "pair", they mean pairing in the same meal and not just on the same day. Some CGM data-based research even goes as far as to suggest that the order within one meal matters, meaning that you need to start with eggs (and veggies if you are making an omelette with them) and follow up with carbs. Carbs go last. Protein and fiber go first.

50 mins stretch class

50 mins Orangetheory while being underslept. After getting my first splat point I realized that today was not the day for pushing it all out because I was underslept. I still did 33 mins in Green zone. I still did unilateral strength exercises with 15 lb dumbbells until muscle failure which felt good. I just did not push myself beyond the Green zone.

298 calories

116 AVG HR

137 PEAK HR

Not bad for a tired person. Hopefully next Monday I won't be tired and then I will push harder.
