I'm completely addicted to Tourettes Guy. It's obviously an act, and the reason it's funny is because he says things that nobody would ever say. They just picked a bad name for him, they could have called him "Funny Outbursts guy"...I dunno. It's a love it or hate it with him. I love it and I'm addicted. They faked his death a couple years ago, and have just released a new video this past Christmas. They said he was in jail for a couple years. Most of the world thinks it's BS. I definitely think the new site is BS, someone is just trying to rip people off, trying to get donations, saying that there will be more videos when the donations come in.
I've watched his videos so many times, I can recite them like the Star Wars nerds recite the scripts for those movies. I also am a fan of the many parodies that have been made. Tourettes Vader is a great series. You can easily find it on youtube. I even wrote an automated twitter program to post random quotes on a daily basis to twitter. My friend is actually working on making an official twitter "application" for it. But those asshats have not made a new video since the christmas one, further diminishing credibility of the new "official" site.

Another character I'm addicted to is James Rolfe, the Angry Video Game Nerd. Not all of the episodes are that funny, but I identify with almost everything he covers. I'm a couple years older than he is, so we grew up with a lot of the same stuff, and same sh*tty games! The best is when he criticizes those stupid crazy cluster **** add-ons like the Sega CD for Sega Genesis, or the Virtual Boy, or Power Glove. I remember all that crap and what a waste of money it was. Track and Field was impossible with the Power Pad. All the World Games, Winter Games, etc. etc. were impossible. I don't really care for his movie reviews, they are pretty boring. But the Angry Video Game Nerd is the best.

What happens is, when I get turned on to something, I immediately have to see every episode...it doesn't matter what time it costs or how much sleep I lose. It must be done.

With music, I get into a little financial trouble with this, because I'll get turned onto an artist, and then I must purchase all of their work. This happened recently with Mozart's requiem. I got like 3 different versions...only one of them is good, which sucks...but oh well I think i got the best one out there.

The other one, Devin Townsend. I heard one of his albums, and was instantly hooked. I bought up all his albums, both his solo work and Strapping Young Lad. That's a lot of albums, and a lot of money to blow without really thinking about it.

So I guess it's more of an impulse than anything. But yeah, when I get into something, I MUST have it all...no matter what.

If I'm hypomanic I get into the same pattern with cars. Now that results in some serious financial setbacks!
