Every time I watch TV I have the want to eat. Also, anytime I have an opportunity to eat, I want to... and feel I have to. The same with the TV thing. No matter what I am doing, I stop to watch TV if it is on. How do I stop both eating and watching TV. I want to control my wants. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Message me if you want.

Can you find something else to do with your hands/mind while watching TV? Maybe a rubic cube, knit, crochet and the like. It helps me not want to snack if I'm busy.

I have a similar issue. I do well all day with my eating. When the kids are asleep and I finally sit down to watch tv all I want to do is eat. It doesn't really matter what I eat, I just want to eat. I'll eat something and a few minutes later I am ready to east again. I actually feel hungry but rationally I know I can't really be hungry. I think it's because food is what I always turn to emotionally. I think what I have figured out is I do this because it's just me. I don't really have many friends and I'm 800 miles away from family. My problem is now that I have figured out why I do this, I need to change these behaviors.
