![]() It is not unusual for me to watch TV up to 14 hours a day. I work full-time, but I Tivo my favorites. If I can't catch my favs then I spend a lot of Saturday catching up. I feel like I know these people. I watch everything from American Idol, Reno 911, Forensic Files and anything similar to it. My husband has a couple of favorites, but I can't think of anything that I won't watch. I feel kind of high watching my shows. I don't do soap operas, but I used to never miss them. Broke myself from them and just found others. I even like The Cougar, Rock of Love, House, Dateline, 20/20, documentaries, and my fav of all - Saturday Night Live. I haven't missed it in the 26 years it has been on I love pop culture so I have to watch Inside Edition and TMZ or any talk shows. I also get a couple of books a week read while I am watching. If I am working then I am listening to the shows or listening to one of the music stations. HELP!!

Hey twiggy!
Do you know of any particular reason why you watch so much TV? Avoiding something? Just don't like silence? I use my computer addiction (I don't have cable, can't afford it thankfully) to avoid schoolwork and life and stuff and I REALLY hate silence. A lot. So I'm always listening to music because silence drives me crazy. Perhaps you could "downgrade" your TV package so you can't access all the channels?? Or go on a retreat/camping trip where you can't bring a TV along for a few days? Or a roadtrip?
