I had the worst breakup with my ex three years ago. He left me for another girl and knocked me up and verbally abused me the whole time. I had an abortion. But three years later I have dreams where I see him with his new girlfriend all the time. What does this mean?

Hello das729, welcome to Psych Central.

It sounds like it was a very messy break up. When you have these thoughts of him with his girlfriend, are you wanting him back? It could mean that there are unresolved issues that you did not come to terms with at the time. It might be a good idea to seek a therapist and talk it through.
