Hi,
I have a problem, and I hope someone can give me some advice. I have anxiety and depression, and the medication I take helps a lot. But I feel I am terrible with people. I can't read people or situations. I took the ASD quiz and scored positive=42 Is this the problem, or is this anxiety? ![]() |

I can't diagnose you. You need to see a P-doc for that, but I can say that I suffer from anxiety and I have problems with people too.

Hello andyo, welcome to Psych Central.
![]() It could be social anxiety or a mild kind of autism. I don't know how old you are but autism is usually picked up early on in childhood, although aspergers can appear in the teenage years. If you have anxiety anyway, it is likely that the anxiety and fear is heightened in social situations. Did you also try the The Sanity Score - Test Your Mental Wellness this can give you a better picture of what is going on and then you can print it out and share it with your doctor. ![]()
