i am hyper as hell!!! i had pdoc last night she cut my lexapro from 20mg to 15mg. she put me on wellbutrin 100mg. i took the 15mg of lexapro last night like i always do and i took the wellbutrin this morning like pdoc said. i was hyper before i took it and even more hyper now. she cut back on lexapro cuz i was tired all the time. she added wellbutrin to counteeract the tiredness.

any ideas? its only been 18hrs.

Anti-depressants can trigger hypo mania or mania in certain people. Only your doctor can tell you for sure what's going on.

Yup. What Blue Bird said. I have to take a mood stabilizer with an anti depressant--lithium and lexapro, but I have also taken lamictal with some success. Do ask your pdoc.

You have probably already answered your own question. It COULD be hypomania. However, Wellbutrin has a stimulant affect on people. It makes you feel hyper sometimes.
