Lately during the night, and sometimes the day, I've been experiencing immense fear of bad things, like demons and stuff. It gets so bad I feel like trying to make myself pass out so I don't have to feel the fear. I'm safe where I am and I try to male myself stop being so worried but I just get so frightened and I'm always glad when it's morning. What is wrong with me?

Hello gracingmoon, welcome to Psych Central.
Fear is a natural response of the body -fight or flight mechanism that is helpful in times of danger but it can become too much and turn into anxiety. Anxiety, Panic and Phobia Center - Psych Central Then that fear/anxiety can become overactive. Psychotherapy and medication can help a great deal in managing in, please go and see your doctor. ![]()
