while browsing the forums I ran across a thread about attachment styles. I never knew such things existed. for me It was always "attached or unattached".

I took a quiz that was posted on that thread, and then found my way to the sites homepage. I took all the tests, quizzes, and studies I qualified for and on every single one I scored as "fearful - avoidant" attachment style.

there were some other kinds of personality tests and such on the sight as well, and some of the results surprised me, for instance on the attractiveness test, my preference was for light colored hair when I always figured myself to love redheads.

any way the site is:
Your Personality | Free Online Personality Tests and Quizzes

and the tests don't take much time. I enjoyed taking them and thought I would pass this on to those who enjoy such things.....

I took the How Big Is Your Personal Bubble quiz.

Results:
Your personal bubble is pretty big.
Based on your responses, you like to have relationships that are a tad more distant than average. How Close You Want To Be With Others:
  • Friends: 14th Percentile (very low) - You want friendships that are very low in closeness.
  • People in General:52nd Percentile (about average) - You want to feel about average closeness to people in general.

Communication Style:
  • Intimacy (66% - high): Your communication style is high in intimacy...you prefer high levels of closeness with others.
  • Warmth (81% - very high): ...Very high in being personable and positive.
  • Negativity (70% - high): ...you talked about memories that were high in negativity.
Attachment Style:
  • Anxiety: 62nd Percentile - high
  • Avoidance: 88th Percentile - very high

Your attachment style is fearful-avoidant. People with this attachment style often feel quite conflicted about other people. On the one hand, they often want close, meaningful relationships; but on the other hand, they tend to feel uncomfortable with extremely close relationships.
