I am not comfortable with my Pdoc. She has always been very rushed with me and not a good fit. I have difficulty communicating how I am doing verbally. Last session she said that she had tried everything and sort of brushed me off. In addition, she is always overbooked and blames her staff; so over an hour wait is not unusual and ramps up my anxiety further increasing my difficulty talking. Based on previous advice, I always take written information with me. However, I now feel hopeless going to my appointment since she has implied I am a hopeless case and she can't or won't help . I am worried that my long term disabilility is based on her reports, what happens with that if I go looking for a new Pdoc? I have an appointment Friday afternoon, looking for support.

Hi there,
I'm kind of in the same boat as you. All they want me to do is take more medication, and last time I went in to the pdoc I actually started crying because I tried to tell her I couldn't bring myself to take MORE medication and she's like "You're choosing to be miserable, I'm not even gonna argue with you", and I wasn't even arguing! I would change pdocs if I were you, and try to take up some different things to help keep you happy and going. ![]() ![]() |

Its time for a change of doctor if the doctor is adding to the pile of anxiety and not helping it. I hope you find someone better! Love and light
