Default Saphris side effects go away?
I am on saphris 5mg and took it for the first time last night. It put me to sleep and I slept 10 hours but I still feel groggy and drunk and drowsy? Will these side effects go away?

Hello Valerieanne77,

Saphris is an antipsychotic. Here is a link all about Saphris >>> Saphris: Uses, Dosage & Side Effects - Drugs.com

Some asenapine (Saphris) side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear.
Early days yet, so see how you go with it and let your doctor know how you are, ok.

When I first started taking it, it made me really sleepy but it got better with time. The doctor just raised mine to 10mg and it's knocking me out again. I don't have to take my absence anymore that's for sure.

Best wishes, Gayle
