Has anyone ever pursued professional or state disciplinary action against a therapist that broke their professional and ethical oath?

Lots of people have reported there T's . I'm sorry something happened that broke the trust. Are you looking for a new Therapist? You need to process what happened with the other one.

Yes I am working with an ethical and competent therapist at the present time. All of our sessions are about the abandonment I feel and my current disciplinary board complaint against my ex-T. I was wondering if anyone else has found taking action against ex-T therapeutic and a way to move on from the hurt and disappointment?

My experience with the government has not been good in these types of matters. Myself, I would not expect much help from the government, but there are always exceptions. Ask yourself, what do you want to happen, and what are the possibilities of that happening. How much time and or money do you want to put in to this matter? Is it worth it? Will it change anything? Good luck with what ever you choose to do.

Burned123, you might like to post this in the Psychotherapy forum as I have seen other members there that have been through the same thing.
