Hi people
I was diagnosed with ocd 3 years back.
My life goes normal, but once in 6 months I have anxiety attacks.
I feel extreme need to be perfect and think and worry about my past mistakes.. How to overcome my anxiety

With therapy you can understand the cause of your anxiety. Once you know that, your anxiety will fade.

Hello. I am diagnosed with OCD, along with other anxiety issues I guess pretty recently. Anxiety (panic) attacks suck. I get them once to twice a week, and different kinds. I have some apps on my iPad that have some coping strategies for panic attacks. One is called Breathe and the other is called Mindshift. With OCD, I haven't had much luck with yet. I ruminate about my past mistakes all the time and unrealistic obsessions like

It sucks. It's hard not to focus on them. Anyways, I am kinda doing therapy for it. I see a social worker, along with a child and youth worker for my anxiety. I do have a psychiatrist, but my last session is quite soon. Anyways, there are lots of post about coping strategies here on Psych Central. Try looking in the anxiety and OCD sections under the "Mental Health Support" option. Hope you find something that works .

I've started Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and it has greatly helped with my anxiety. There are some great tools and resources on line. The App I have begun to use is "TruReach"

Breathe, meditate, learn to live in the moment, practice progressive relaxation exercises, eat healthfully, get enough sleep, exercise...
