I had to switch to a new therapist a couple months ago because of scheduling differences. From the beginning of working with her I wasn't sure if I felt fully comfortable, but I wanted to give it time. I just feel like I don't know what's going on - last week she threw out bipolar - but I don't know if that's a diagnosis or if she knows for sure, but I didn't like leaving feeling like I had this label but no support in dealing with that. I know a big part of it is my difficulty communicating, but it's hard to tell if I'm having a difficult time communicating just with her or if it's just me. Thoughts? Thanks for the feedback.

My suggestion is that you tell her of your concern during your next session. See how that goes. Then you'll have a clearer idea of whether your therapist is right for you, or not.
