Our daughter tells us she can't hear music or tv very well. Has anybody ever heard of this going off Abilify?? If so... Does it get better in time?? Thanks!!

Hello TraciR: No... the Skeezyks can't say as he's ever heard of something like this. But that doesn't mean it couldn't happen I suppose. It would be worthwhile to check it out with the prescribing physician. I was put on Abilify for a short period of time a few years back. It made everything I ate taste metallic. I pretty-much lost all interest in eating. So there do certainly seem to be some odd side effects that can be caused by this med.

There's no telling what side effects can happen so I would just believe your daughter and help her get through this. She should see a doctor for some meds to help her get off of that drug.
