Anyone ever have the urge to kill themselves like just days the thought of it just kinda puts a grin on your face and your not sure why but it just does I was just thinking to my self this morning why is this such a happy thought

Sometimes I do. I find the idea of nothingness (I don't believe I'll be going to heaven, hell or anywhere) very comforting. I don't really want to end it yet, living is sometimes very interesting, but I do look forward to the nothingness there will be one day.

It's not so much as nothingnish as idk how to describe it....it's like you know you will be in a better place I think it will be beautifully amazing something only your soul could understand

Sadly, it is not unusual for someone who is suicidal to feel better (or think s/he feels better) at the thought of suicide. There might be a sense of closure, or peace, when facing suicide. But the thing is, suicide is more about escaping from pain than it is about dying.

i tried suicide in 12th grade because i got so lonely back then. i needed someone i could trust my feelings with and no one had the time.

Sometimes, the thought of me being free and everything just stopping, sounds like the most beautiful thing in the world.

But I stay here, because I'm scared and because I have something new to live for, right now.
I understand completly though.
