My wife and I are separated and going through a divorce.
We have 3 children ages 8, 6, and 5.
She has been working to vilify me to my children, used the court to only allow me 9 hours a week with them but I bought them a cell phone to keep contact.
Yesterday my 6 year old told me that their mother is doing drills with them on what to do if someone comes to the house to kidnap them.
I really fear this and other things she is doing like instructing them to keep secrets and withhold information (they express fear in telling me much of anything) is having a negative emotional/psychological information-packed on my children.
I guess my question is whether this sort of behavior from their mother is harmless or harmful

It is harmful. Keep in touch with your Lawyer.

It sounds harmful to me.

Keep an eye out for parental alienation as it sounds like she's doing that in a very subtle way. My ex did that with our son long before it was recognized so our relationship is somewhat strained to this day. Talk to your attorney about it.

Good luck.
