So this is my first post and I've just been diagnosed with schizophrenia. My name is Mairead and I live in North Carolina. I hear voices nobody else can hear, it seems as if they have detailed characters and most of them despise me. I don't know most of their names they just talk to me and tell me they hate me. They say they will hurt me if I don't do what they say. There is one called The Baron. He is the worst he tells me to cut myself and to just go die as if my existence pains him. There is only one who is nice to me, Delilah, she tells me it's going to be okay and that none of what they say is true. Only my close friends know I have schizophrenia and that I hear the voices. I always thought it was normal when I was little until the voices told me it wasn't, they said nobody else goes through this and I did something wrong to end up like this. They say everyone's after me and nobody likes me. I want them to stop but I don't know who I could live without them, they've always been there. My friends who know tell me that sometimes I get very aggressive randomly. I just want to know if anyone else out there is like me, and how you make it all stop.
