I've been searching online but haven't come across someone with an experience exactly like this. Usually when I look up "sensing people in my head", or something close, I get things about hallucinations or DID. I don't have any of those. What does happen is that sometimes when I've been thinking about someone (or sometimes even out of the blue) I feel like I sense their presence right with me, almost like it's in my head. Sometimes it'll feel like they can see and hear everything I can, like they can see the world with my eyes, even know what I'm thinking. It doesn't happen super often, but when it does it feels very invasive. On one level, I know that it's not possible, but it can feel very real. It's almost always someone that I know. What would something like this be then?

Hello gobstopper: The Skeezyks doesn't know what this might be about. The only thing I can say is, based on my own experience, anxiety can produce a lot of quite strange feelings, especially if it goes on long enough. So, if anxiety is something you struggle with, perhaps that has something to do with it. The good thing is you know it's not real.
