Hello Redneck: I'm sorry you are experiencing such distress. I don't know what is going on with you. But, hopefully, being here on PC can be of some comfort & support. I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. There are many knowledgeable & caring members here. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!
Thanks for this!

if the kind of help you are looking for is diagnosis that may be why you are not finding that kind of help here.

psych central is like getting together with your best friend and not like getting together with a doctor, therapist or psychiatrist. theres forms for discussing mental disorders like how our own mental disorders affect us, what our own treatment providers call our own problems. and sometimes show each other we care by clicking the hugs and other buttons. theres also a game forum for playing and discussing games, a forum for discussing news articles and for posting thanks and affirmation quotes.. theres so many different forums here it took me a while to get to know the place when I first got here. theres even forums for insurance, school, work, sexuality and spirituality discussions.

but for actual diagnosis and treatment you will need to contact a doctor or therapist in your off the computer location. if you are in crisis there is a gray box at the bottom of every page to click on that can give you phone numbers and agencies that help in many different kinds of crisis situations.

welcome
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
