Does anyone feel that he/she is not real? Like he/she is living a dream or something like that? I feel myself like this sometimes, like this life is just an illusion!!

This could mean you are healing and out growing what you were once into. This feeling is common in that situation. Also this means you are changing within.

I feel the same, but it most likely feels like life is a simulation that will end one day. It can be a troubling feeling tho : /

I feel like this periodically. It's really bad when I'm going through depersonalization or "wake up" from an episode of dissociation. It also tends to happen when I'm hypomanic or going through extreme stress externally.

For me it is usually more like needing to "wake up", so to speak, and realize things around me are actually real. It is quite common for me to suddenly find myself feeling and acting like something is only a dream, and there are times when I must stop everything for a few moments so I can collect my senses (sometimes even shaking my head a bit to awaken my intellect or whatever) before crashing the car (for example) because I had been in a daydream-like state rather than fully aware I was in a very real situation and *not* merely fly-dreaming.

I feel like that. For example, the other day I was waiting the bus, and I know everything was moving around me (people, cars, ... etc), but in my mind, everything doesn't exist really, or as if the time for me stopped somehow!!

Yes, and the part that scares me at times is when I find myself thinking I can press "P" for "Pause" for one reason or another and not be run over by that bus.

Yes, I feel that my environment is unreal. It's very disturbing. I call it 'derealisation'. The sensation that yourself is unreal is called 'depersonalization'.

I used to have this feeling + other feelings like everything is unreal and constant tunnel vision. Its called Derealization. its not an illness though so it can be cured, it just takes time

I do and it happens more frequently and suddenly. Its really weird, last week I was in class talking and laughing with my friends and this feeling came upon me so suddenly and intensively like never before. I was suprised. I feel like nothing is real and I'm in a dream. Its kind of like Im locked in my own mind and im not doing anything even tho I was speaking with my friend at the time.

I always recall this statement from philosophy class: cogito ergo sum [I think, therefor I am] It grounds me back to reality.

Well the cure to this is to stop being anxious and stressing out all the time. Apparently thats the cure to and the cause is prolonged anxiety and stress.

When I was 8 years old and beginning a new school I took solace in the idea that maybe I was really from Mars and was brought to earth as an experiment. My parents were not my real parents and I didn't really have any sisters, it was just a big experiment. Whenever things got tough I would go to that kind of thinking to give myself sort of a break from the stress of the new small town kid gone to the big city. It served me well at the time.

I never talked about this to anyone. My T knows a little...very little. It started when I was 16. At the time I was very isolated, no friends, and super anxious because of school and socializing, I never spoke to my classmates and they laughed at me or treated me like a child. I experienced this sensation of not feeling the world real. Like, I remember for example, I was in class, it was like my surroundings were fake, the things around me, their colors, seemed strange, like they didn't have a reason to be there. Everyone was slow, I walked and nothing made sense (people and things around me).I had some "episodes" of this, they only lasted some seconds and then went away. Then I read it's called derealization when you feel that external reality isn't real, something isn't right, and depersonalization, when you feel you and your body are not real. I had more derealization than depersonalization I think.
The last episode I remember happened 2 years ago, I was walking and felt like my surroundings were fake, like from a film. Then after some seconds it went away. In my situation, I alway experienced this when I was very stressed out and depressed. When I feel good I never have this sensation.

Ego death is a common event when using DMT, Ayahuasca, lsd, even weed and alcohol. If you're not using any of these you could consider something schizoid.
