Have you ever like you know you're brain is not used in its full capacity (and you somehow realize that) but you just couldn't seem to unlock its potential? I feel that all the time.. And it's hard to be creative because of that.
Have you ever had that experience? And how was it? |

It happens to many people! I do crosswords and often find my brain is slow or unresponsive. It comes down to tiredness and stress we don't perceive. |

Yes. It's annoying and demoralizing when we can't access better capacities. I'm just spending today wasting away on the computer, can't bear the thought of applying myself to reading a novel, or god forbid, something more creative or productive.

All intellectual activities are challenging to all, but more so to people with certain disorders like ADHD or learning disorder.

When I was in a bad marriage for so long & anger was about the only emotion I felt it was like I couldnt even find the right word I knew I knew to finish a sentence. Meds werent helping except to cause horrible side effects so my pdoc who was into alternative treatments suggested omega 3 EPA & DHA was in the formula. I started taking it just before I left & moved 2100 miles away. I took the omrga 3 fir awhile & also just being totslly away from the horrible stress, it was like my brain just switched ON again. My 2 year DBT group just reinforced my working brain also even without the omega 3 which i just got tired of taking.
My brain is working better at 64 than ever before in my life. This has helped me realize just how much stress I was under in my childhood though it wasnt intentional by my parents. They were just dysfunctional with their own messed up lives...but it was a real eye opener to me past
