I'm 14 years old and losing my memories. I can't remember what happened in my childhood. Well what I can remember of my childhood. When I do I can't tell if it's my imagination or really a memory.
I'm on an antipsychotic, so that could be causing it. It keeps getting worse by the day. I feel unreal. Not in my body. I don't know what exactly is wrong. Please help me. |

Hi Rincad, My guess is that your memory loss is a side-effect of the medication. I have it, too, from meds.

Hi, Rincad, and welcome to Psych Central! As was said, meds could be causing your memory problem. I suggest that you bring it up with your doctor.

I believe its the meds too - thats what I experienced after going on them.
To try and get more help, can you speak with your parents? Or do you have a mental health worker? A mental health worker may be able to put you in touch with an 'advocate' - which is someone who could represent you at meetings - they can be very helpful. |

Yeah it sounds like it could be your meds. My memory was awful when I was on medication.
