I have noticed my mood is lower than usual. Some days I do cry and I have felt sad almost everyday and I'm wondering if I'm having an episode of depression. I have been eating less as well, and as a result I have lost a little bit of weight.

It does seem to be like such... I hope things look up for you. I'm in that same boat.

I think it's time to talk with your doctor. In the meantime, perhaps plan yourself - force yourself - a little outing.

It sounds like depression. But is it situational? That is, did this mood change happen for seemingly no reason or is something going on in your life that might have caused it? Also, has it been going on for more than a week?

I think you have a depression. You should talk to someone who's close to you or contact a therapist.

Doesn't mean that. .If you're feeling sad, that may have some different feelings too and depression means you're loosing something.

Maybe it's a hormonal issue? I hope you feel better soon. I feel really sad and hopless and anxious. I feel like my boss is mad at me. But I have severe PMDD, and I'll get my period Monday or Tuesday, and I hope to have some major relief a few days after that.

It's possible, but we can't diagnose through the internet. Maybe you can speak to your GP.

Ask a doctor to be sure. Maybe it's just a temporary thing.
