Oh, geez. I've had this problem. Are you supposed to get 3 month supplies at a time? It could be that they're trying to contact your doctor to receive a new prescription for 3 months, or possibly that they are out of the medication you're taking. I get a "pending" message when I don't order a 3 month supply or mail order when I refill my prescriptions. I called customer service on the back of my prescription card. You could also ask your pharmacist.

Like Constellation said.... it could be a couple of things. When I've gotten that message, they've cleared it up relatively quickly. Best to call and ask the pharmacist.

Your prescription may have run out so they have had to call your doctor to get an updated prescription. Usually it's that, or sometimes the insurance company needs an update from the doctor to approve the prescription (happens with some meds every 6 or 12 months if they aren't on their normal formulary). It can be other things also. Just call the pharmacist and find out what they are waiting for; they'll be able to tell you what is going on.

Hi detour, Yeah, Like others have posted it could be that either CVS is in the process of contacting your doctor for a refill, or it means they are out of the medication and had to order it. If you call them, they'll tell you what's going on.
