That's pretty much all I wanted to know. I'm in SD and would prefer going to a physical location.

here where I am this falls under the category of childhood trauma/ ptsd, emotional abuse, and child neglect, trauma and stress disorders,

to find a support group in your area call a mental health agency and ask the person who answers the phone if they know of any support groups that cover a situation where when an adult was a child they felt like or were put in the position of being the parent instead of being the child. any foster care program can also tell you if there are any groups like this.. some foster children have had to be or feel they have to be the adult in the family so child protective services and adult protective services may know of some groups. please know that some support groups sometimes require referrals from a treatment provider, so if you do not have a therapist or psychiatrist you might want to contact your insurance plan to see who accepts your insurance (here in the USA its still required that all americans have mental and physical health insurance at least until the president manages to repeal obamacare laws.)
