How wise is it to write a blog chronicling, or even simply recording, your mental health story?

As long as you leave out personally identifying information I think it's a great idea. Journaling in general is very helpful.

That seems to be the trip for me. I feel the need to use names, though I understand aliases can be more beneficial.

I agree. A blog could be very beneficial as long as you leave out identifying information.

I'm blogging about my therapy experience. I use a pseudonym for myself and my therapist. I find it incredibly helpful to reflect on my experiences, organize them coherently, and share them with the world.
