Hi. I don't know if this is the best forum for this, but I don't know where to fit it in.
My psychiatrist of 2 1/2 years said to me yesterday that he doesn't know if he can do anything else for me. I'm am super-sensitive to meds (have tried and failed with so many) and I have been undergoing ECT with him since February (maintenance treatments these past four months). He said he doesn't see a clear picture of recovery and what works for me since he began seeing me. He said it may be time to have another set of eyes take a look, I.e. Another psychiatrist.
Then he said about a referral for CSP services, and I can have coordinated care etc. this discussion took place just before I was put out for my ECT. He mentioned it to my mother as well, and she asked " would she still be able to see you?" He said "it's possible."

My questions :
What is the difference between CSP services and CCS?
Also, is there a clearer answer as to if I would be assigned to a different psychiatrist?
He mentioned something about counseling services as well- I just started with a new therapist, so would I have to switch therapists also?
