How do I go about asking for a diagnosis? I do have a couple in mind already but I fear that if I bring this up with therapist they would just dismiss my claims and thinks I'm trying to fake it. I dont completely trust therapists as is but I fear since I have researched the disorders that that would affect it. Also I do tend to get off track when speaking and can jump from topic to topic at random so I would like to know how to keep on track with my train of thought so I can talk about my problems. I also feel like my problems aren't big enough to actually go to someone about and that I would just waste their time. Any advice?

Try the quizzes https://psychcentral.com/quizzes/ and then print out the results and take it with you. Or write down your symptoms to share with the doctor/therapist. You are not wasting anyone's time, you are being pro active. Good luck!

I decided to write down a list of all the problems I have, I think tests like those are easy to fake and not reliable |

I encourage you to be evaluated by a psychiatrist who would diagnose any mental health condition. If you do have a diagnosis, you can then decide whether you want treatment for it or not. Good luck and best wishes.
