I just took the sanity score and had a very high PTSD rating. I read over the results and such and now I'm a bit scared. I did suffer childhood traumas and later as a teenager too but, all though I remember most of them I think some worse stuff may have happened that was blocked out because it was too intense to endure. I was already considering this and now seeing the test results and their descriptions have got me worried. Am I just over reacting maybe or should I have any extreme concern here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well... I'm certainly no expert when it comes to the Sanity Score test... or PTSD either for that matter. But my personal opinion is that the Sanity Score test is really just "food for thought", as the saying goes. I don't think one should take it too seriously. On the other hand, this is clearly something that is of concern to you. So perhaps it might make sense to talk this over with your therapist, if you see one. If you don't, perhaps this the time to find one.

While I understand finding a “diagnosis “ is very important. In times like these I ask myself one thing..

“How does reading this information (your test) really affect change in my life this second?”

Most of the time if you’re honest with yourself, it may be alarming news but doable.

I read stuff all the time and spiral, so I totally understand.

Ultimately PTSD is essentially anxiety, it jsut has a different face.
