I have a crush on a guy in my class, but recently, I've realized that he resembles a cousin of mine who molested me when I was 5. I thought I've forgiven him a long time ago. Should I be worried of my state of mind on this issue? Is this an issue at all? Do I have an emotional/psychological problem?

Even if you have forgiven your cousin you don't need to be dating someone who looks like him. Don't do it and since you believe that you were molested you should be seeing a therapist or counselor. Your crush on this guy could be mixed up feelings stemming from your trauma. I say don't do it.

Hello, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I would think at the age of 5 you wouldn't have been able to process what happened to you properly. Please seek psychotherapy so that you know you have dealt with what happened before embarking in a relationship.
