Does anyone else experience moments where everything is moving very slow but at the same time it’s all very aggressive? My whole body becomes very heavy and I can’t really move. In the moment, everything gets very loud and then causes full panic attack. The shortest amount of time that it has lasted is 5 mins. Then the longest is about 30 mins. All I can really do is just stay where I am let it pass. I am just trying to find out if anyone else has experienced this before. Also, if they know what exactly causes it. I have heard my friend call it a sensory overload. Is this something that I should bring up with my therapist or physicist? I just really want answers.

Hello there! I think you may consult your therapist that will help.

Sorry I cant give you the answer of what this is in you only your own doctors / treatment providers can do that for you.

yes I get this and its a panic attack in me.

my suggestion if this continues to bother you talk with your treatment providers. they will be able to answer what this is in you.

Hello Quinndledelta: As others have written here, we cannot diagnose you. This really is something you need to discuss with your therapist and psychiatrist or other physician.

I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

I don't know, of course, if you're here simply seeking advice with regard to this particular concern or if you plan to continue posting. However, should you be planning to continue on (we hope you do)... may I suggest you introduce yourself over on PC's New Member Introductions forum? Here's a link:

https://forums.psychcentral.com/new-...introductions/

There's a lot of support that can be available here on PC. The more you post, & reply to other members' posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are the chat rooms where you'll be able to interact with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) So please keep posting!

A physicist and a therapist could be helpful.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
