I feel like damaged goods because I was in foster care when I was younger, I was never abused physically or sexually, but emotionally big time. What if I never know how to accept love or give it? I’m always afraid CPS will take my future kids. Maybe a family, love, and happiness aren’t for me.

You are not damaged goods, feelings are not facts, believe in yourself.

You are not damaged goods. You are worthy of love and you are worthy of a family. I am adopted, so I can kind of relate.
Are you in therapy or have you considered if therapy might be helpful for you? |

You are not damaged good. You are just hurt emotionally. You probably suffer from unresolved issues as well. You may want answers about something. Try read the Bible daily and praying about your unresolved emotions to see if you'll feel any kind of relief.
