Since the start diagnosing me seemed to be challenging, I was called a 'complex case' and often the professionals wanted to hear from me, what I think it could be - which diagnoses...
I wonder wether I should fight for another evaluation or just accept things how they are - which is always good right? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Dear Reveuse Troublee,
That sounds very confusing. I think your thoughts and feelings are very understandable. I wish I knew what I would do if I was in your place, but sadly I can't think of anything. Hopefully others here with more knowledge, experience and insight will see your post and respond to it with something helpful. I am so sorry that I could not be helpful to you but I hope things eventually get sorted out so you can have some peace of mind. The situation you are in sounds so distressing. Sincerely yours, Yao Wen |

Hi, is this a psych evaluation or a medical evaluation? It’s always good to have a second opinion; especially when dealing with a serious concern. Of course if this is a psych evaluation, it’s sometimes difficult to arrange. Finally as we all know the choice is yours and finding the best medical help can be a challenge, I hope you can make a wise decision for your life.

If you notice some discrepancy between what the doctors tell you you actually have and what you actually feel on a day to day basis it is absolutely in your right to ask fro clarification. Even if you don't notice it, you should be absolutely free to ask any information about it since this is YOUR mental health we're talking about. So yes, i agree with the other wise and wonderful posters about getting a second opinion if you feel like it would make you feel more at peace or even simply expressing your doubts to your doctors. Sending many Safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @ReveuseTroublee, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

i dont see whats wrong with a second opinion, i mean if you are able to get a second opinion for a psysical problem why cant you for a mental illness? i had to see several doctors before they found out i have type2 diabities and a problem with my pituitary gland in my brain. i didnt want to hear it but im happy i know now.

Imagine going to a medical doctor due to feeling very sick and the doctor turns around and says 'Well, I don't really know what's wrong with you. What do you think it is?'(!!) To me, that's wrong and it's the same in the psych field. They don't sound competent which would make me think I need a proper evaluation. So that's my answer.
All the best, you'll get there in the end, friend.👍 |
