Has anyone gotten theirs yet? I filed mine in the beginning of April. I got my state back like a week later. But the federal I haven’t gotten and that I could really use. Like a week ago.

We get ours usually within few days from filing. Do you not file electronically?

I filed electronically toward the beginning of March and I got mine back around the end of March. Think it took about 19 days.

If you know how much you are getting back you can check the status of your refund here

Have you set up direct deposit? Many times those who are getting paper checks or debit cards have considerable amount of time before they get the refund. Also with the exception of people that filed really early like myself in February nearly everybody’s refunds are all screwed up because of the stimulus bill. They rushed out the stimulus payments because of the necessity in need of American citizens and refunds went on the back burner. Plus there is an IRS worker shortage. So you figure you’ve got tax refunds and audits, stimulus bill money, and all the other stuff in between with a shortened workforce. It doesn’t make for anything reliable. You can call the toll-free number for the IRS and you might have to wait on hold but if you get an actual person maybe they could shed better light on it.
