Is Spotify safe?

I’ve had no issues but then I found some mild adult content podcasts that I have listened to and now I’m worried about security issues and the fbi spying on me and stuff. Basically all I was listening to was kinks and stuff. Nothing bad. But I mean wouldn’t it be taken down if there was actual bad stuff on there?

I’m just not sure how safe it is. It’s free and I’m looking for another outlet besides Reddit and these podcasts seem like a good alternative.

Basically I am just paranoid as **** right now. And I may have overdone it with the caffeine which could be contributing to my anxiety.

I have never had an issue with spotify and I've used it for over a year to check out new music each week and to listen to podcasts.

do you feel the same about youtube?

if not, maybe try and imagine spotify as youtube but without video content

I do not use YouTube because for some reason when I look at stuff it shows up on my brothers iPad. Like everything I look at. I noticed it when I was on the iPad a couple months ago. I don’t know how it happened except that I had to use the iPad for my IOP in November and I had log into gmail. But I always logged out and I never went on YouTube on the iPad. so I really don’t know how it happened. So I had to delete my history and now I just avoid it altogether. Stuff like that freaks me out because I have very private things on my phone and I’m a very private person altogether.

One time I logged into my moms Amazon account from my phone. And all my browsing history showed up from my account to hers. So I freaked out. Luckily I noticed and I was able to delete everything and now whenever I want to order from her prime account I do it on the iPad and use my own account and phone for my private things.

Don’t even get me started on what happened when I accidentally logged into the cloud in 2014. all my google browsing history showed up on my family’s desk top. And I wasn’t looking at the greatest things. I know my dad was on the computer while the stuff was still up. So I don’t know if he just didn’t say anything or notice or just thought it was some weird **** Google was doing.

Unrelated but my new room has hardwood floors so they don’t need to be vacuumed and I now have a walk in closet so it’s easy to hide things that I don’t want anyone else seeing. I put some stuff in my luggage bag and then put it on the shelf before my surgery. But my mom has just left my clothes on my bed to put away myself.

I’m getting a package tomorrow and I don’t think it will be an issue since it’s Sunday and my mom won’t be looking for the mail and Amazon doesn’t usually ring doorbells. I will just get a notice on my phone.

But yeah the Spotify thing I mainly just wanted to make sure was ok security wise.

Spotify is a huge platform, I am sure people monitor what’s on it and wouldn’t allow anything that would be illegal on the platform.
