The woman who had this number before me, no longer has this number of course.

Well she was a substitute teacher and there is an automated system for subs here that calls and lets them know and they enter a code to accept.

Sounds great right? Sure, if your the TEACHER.

This number has been calling me for months almost everyday, starting as early as six am and continuing every half hour up until after nine am. DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Of course, they dont have an option to speak with someone, take me off their list. I looked the number up and FINALLY found the company who makes the system. I sent them two very frank and slightly cranky messages telling them for the love of god, take me off your list, im not Joan, for that matter ive talked to the woman joan and she is RETIRED so take her off your dang list too.. and i also said look, im not saying you did anything illegal but this is broaching on harrasment and if i receive another call i will phone the RCMP and report this.(were talking six to eight calls a day, sometimes more, with no option to stop it or number to contact.)

the phone company offered a free number change. Well i cant do that, that would mean id have to set the number to a message telling people to call the new number, which would defeat the whole process.

Yikes! ~backs slowly away from the phone~ Note to self never EVER call Rainbow at 6 am....or me for that matter. LOL
I pray for their sake they quit calling you.

the company called me back today. The man who called explained that it looked like the school board had not gone in and removed the number. He said it should be all taken care of by tomorrow, and gave me his direct number in case i have any further issues. I apologized to bill for sounding so harsh in my message, and explained that i just was at my wits end. He said he understood!
