We have a new family of quail in our neighborhood and they just love our lawn! There are about 8-9 babies and the two parents. The father is so protective and keeps a watchful eye on the family while the mom shows the babies how to get food. They are so incredibly fast that most pictures had to be taken from our guest bedroom in the front part of the house or from far away before they saw me!

Oh my.....What a beautiful little family they have going on there!!
 They are all absolutely adorable!! Thank you soooo much for sharing!! Have fun watching them grow. Later on, if they stick around It would be cool to see how big they get!! Have fun!!

They are super cute and I just sit there quietly watching them through the window. They chirp alot and stick very close to each other.
I will take more pictures in a week or two to see how much they have grown. They really make me smile....sometimes you just need that!
