How do you make the best decision for yourself, when you won't know it's the best decision until after you make it?

I like to look at each choice objectively and weigh the pros and cons, the one with the least cons wins.

Yeah I have a terrible time with decisions at times, even ones that are really really not that important. Then with important ones I often make a decision by not making a decision...which is really what amounts to a decision on its own lol.

But really I feel your pain and though I'm not there with practicing it all the time, what comes to mind is that you have to be willing to accept that it may have consequences you can't predict and won't like, whatever you choose. But it may also have ones you couldn't have predicted and are glad for. And just basically you'll never know all the future consequences for certain and if you expect any kind of certainty, you'll be disappointed.

Yeah I said all that but it's still hard to accept. I want to know where this or that choice would lead, but really there are all kinds of other people and factors involved in most big ones, and uncertainty is a part of moment to moment life.

I say, make whatever decision strikes your fancy; make it work; declare it the best (if you even care any more) -- and don't look back.

Make a list of pros and cons and pick the one with the least cons, Also remember if you bat 500 you are still the champ And many decisions do not have clear right or wrong answers
