![]() ![]() I wish I could have been there!!! I would have been wetting my pants, but I would have loved every second of it!! These storms fascinate me. Their power and the way they evolve....it's amazing. The unfortunate side to these monsters is the terrible destruction that they cause to life and property. I wish we could change that...and I think that's why these guys are out there doing what they do. Plus they're just damn crazy!! ![]() http://www.comcast.net/video/storm-c...eed/1288168662

Elysium. Darling. You are reacting with typical naivete to one of nature's most powerful and destructive forces.
Tornados are horrible. People who have never seen one or who have never been in one close up always thing they are sooooooooooooo cool. When, in fact, they are sooooooooooooooo dangerous. I was born, raised, and lived in tornado alley for over 40 years. They are not fun or exciting. The nutjobs who chase tornados are adrenalin junkies posing as scientists. STAY AWAY FROM THE TORNADOS. ![]()

My town has been hit several times with major tornadoes. I am one of the spotters that goes out to watch for a funnel cloud and then report it to dispatch. That is as close as I want to be to one. Although the last one sucked me out my front door. That was scary. Do a google search for Xenia tornado and look at what comes up.
